The historic skunk train, founded in 1885, is an attraction drawing visitors from all over the world.  One of last of it's kind, the skunk train will take it's passengers back in time on a relaxing ride into the redwood forest along the Noyo River and over the coastal mountain range. Young and Old, this is not to be missed. This half day round trip  will take you to Northspur which is half way between Fort Bragg and Willits nestled in the woods. It is a 3- 3 1/2 hour ride including the brief stop in Northspur.   note:  if riding on the Steam engine, it is a little slower and may take up to 4 hours.                **  THE SKUNK WILL BEGIN IT'S 2008 SEASON BEGINNING MARCH 14!

Most trips depart the depot at 10am and run 3-3 1/2 hours. Steam engine runs slower @ approx 4 hours.
  BBQ trips depart at 3:30. 
You must arrive at the station to check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Package price starts with a single queen bed, weekday, discounted winter rates.  Weekend, Peak Season, Holiday, Event stays
 or Room Upgrades will be higher.  Skunk Train rates are subject to change without notice.  Rate is the same for any engine running. 
Skunk Train Tickets are non-refundable but can be postponed to a later date.  Specialty trains will be at a higher rate.
